GFWC of Tennessee club women are encouraged to show their volunteer spirit
by sharing their accomplishments with friends and neighbors as well as the
print media, radio and television. News making events include local,
district, state and international meetings, fund raising events and
Federation Day events on April 24 of each year.
The GFWC theme, “Unity in Diversity” describes both the organization and
it’s members. The banding together of clubs became an international
organizational of community-based volunteers in thousands of clubs in all
50 states, plus U.S. territories and foreign countries. Club women show
their dedication to community improvement each year by enhancing the lives
of others through volunteer service.
