IMPROVEMENT CONTEST
2006-2008
(Creating Inspired Change)-

CIC projects must be completed during the two-year period of March 1, 2006
through April 30, 2008. The Club contest entries must be sent to Sandy
Purcell, 7886 Woodchase Drive, Cordova, TN 38016 postmarked by March 1,
2008. (See the GFWC Club Manual’s orange Special Projects” section for
further details. Included in the Presidents’ bags at the Fall Conference
at Cookeville were addressed post cards that you can complete and send
to Sandy Purcell as soon as you know that your Club is going to submit a
CIC entry (by December 1, 2007 at the latest). The post cards will be
helpful to let the judges know how many entries they will be judging.
As noted at the Fall Conference, life very often includes dealing with
and adjusting to change. The GFWC Community Improvement Contest is an
excellent opportunity for the Clubwomen of Tennessee to assess their
community’s needs and then to create inspired change in their community.
I challenge you all to do just that!
